KITCHEN SINK, WINDOW AREAS MOST POPULAR FOR UPDATING

Thinking about remodeling? What part of your home would you most like to change? The kitchen backsplash is leading the way in an HGTV.com poll asking respondents what one area or feature of their house could, quote, "really use an update." Just over 40-percent note they'd like to rework the kitchen sink area. Draperies are another thing many people would like to refresh, with 31-percent saying they'd enjoy new window treatments. One in five are wishing to redo their fireplace area. Most folks are satisfied with their bedrooms. Only eight percent would like to make a change to their bed's headboard.
