Country stars are putting their wits to the test for charity. Big & Rich's Big Kenny Alphin will be the first up as "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" goes country this week on CMT. Other singers slated to demonstrate their academic skills on the game show include Jack Ingram, Heidi Newfield, Bucky Covington, and Emily West. Jeff Foxworthy hosts the 30-minute show, in which the stars field questions about math, social studies, art, geography, and other subjects they studied back when they were kids. Big Kenny will be playing for the organization Love Everybody on tonight's episode, airing at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. Newfield will be Tuesday's contender, raising money for the National MS Society.Covington takes his turn on Wednesday to support the Arthritis Foundation. Ingram will be helping Tom's Shoes on Thursday's program, and West will wrap up the week playing for the Alzheimer Foundation of America.
