Keith Urban says his four GRAMMY nominations is capping off an incredible experience he's had with his CD "Defying Gravity." The singer notes that his intention in writing and recording the album was, quote, "to touch upon the power of the human spirit," and he had, quote, "no idea that it would've connected in the way that it did." He adds that in taking the album on the road on his "Escape Together" tour he could see how he'd met his goal, and, quote, "to now end the year with these nominations is pure magic."Urban is a top country nominee with bids in four categories. His hit "Sweet Thing" is in the running for Best Male Country Vocal Performance; his pairing with Brad Paisley, "Start A Band," is up for Best Country Collaboration With Vocals; "Defying Gravity" is a contender for Best Country Album; and his DVD "Love, Pain & The Whole Crazy World Tour Live" is among the hopefuls for Best Long Form Music Video. GRAMMY nominees were announced Wednesday night. The 52nd annual GRAMMY Awards will be presented in a ceremony in Los Angeles, airing on CBS on January 31st.
