Jason Aldean's "Wide Open" Sales

Jason Aldean has another Platinum album to his credit. His latest CD, "Wide Open," has logged sales topping the one-million mark since its release back in April. The singer notes the accomplishment is just one reason 2009 has been a special year for him, and it gives him, quote, "so much to be thankful for going into the holidays." He adds, quote, "Getting my first platinum album back in 2006 was one of the proudest moments in my career so far...Put this one at the top of that list too." The achievement gives Aldean the distinction of being the only solo male country artist this year to release an album and reach Platinum sales status in 2009. "Wide Open" includes Aldean's chart-topping hits "She's Country" and "Big Green Tractor" as well as his latest single, "The Truth."
