Carrie Underwood's "Cowboy Casanova" Not The Cowboys' Quarterback

Carrie Underwood isn't revealing who -- if anyone -- served as the inspiration to her current single, "Cowboy Casanova." However, she insists that song is not about her ex, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. The singer tells "Esquire," quote, "I would never immortalize a guy that did me wrong. I would never give him that much credit." The season four "American Idol" champ and the football star became an item in December 2006, and were said to have been on-again, off-again until Romo became romantically linked to Jessica Simpson in the fall of 2007. Underwood reportedly moved on with actor Chace Crawford, and they were together for about six months. After Crawford, Underwood's love life returned to the sports arena as she began dating Ottawa Senators player Mike Fisher. The singer and the hockey star are celebrating their second holiday season together, and have been a couple for about 14 months.
