Bucky Covington's "Early Christmas Gift"

Bucky Covington is among the country stars trying to make the holiday season a little brighter for kids at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. The singer recently joined Sawyer Brown and Love And Theft for a performance at the facility. Some of the kids even took part in the "guitar pull," adding the sounds of drums, tambourines, and maracas to the mix. After their show the artists spent time visiting with the children and their families. Covington says it was a special experience for him, noting, quote, "Seeing all of the children's faces light up was an early Christmas gift for me." He adds, quote, "All of these children are going through trying times and have long days. I'm incredibly thankful for the opportunity to give them a nice break in the day and bring a little holiday cheer."

Following their visit at the hospital, Covington, Sawyer Brown, and Love And Theft took part in a special birthday party at a nearby Ronald McDonald House for one of the patients. The stars participated in party games and led the attendees in singing "Happy Birthday" to the guest of honor.
