Woman Passes Driving Test On 950th Attempt
After several hundred attempts, a Korean woman is now one step close to being legally able to drive. Britain's "The Times" reports that Cha Sa-soon passed her driving theory test on her 950th attempt. The 68-year-old has taken the exam every day outside of weekends and holidays since April 13th, 2005. She has spent more than ten-thousand-dollars trying to obtain her license. Her attempt to become a legal driver has become so well documented that she has become a celebrity in Korea and a reality TV star in Japan. Unfortunately, Cha Sa-soon still has not yet obtained her driver's license. She must now pass the more difficult practical test before she can hit the roads.
