Kenney Chesney in 3-D?

Kenny Chesney's show is coming to the big screen. "The Hollywood Reporter" says Sony Pictures is behind "Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3D." The concert movie was crafted from footage shot during the singer's 2009 Sun City Carnival tour. Chesney says the filming wasn't always easy, admitting, quote, "It was an amazing -- and at times scary -- experience to have cameras that close, in the air, in a blimp." But he adds that he's pleased with the final product, noting, quote, "When you see what this film captures...even for me, who's in the eye of the storm, I was taken aback." Sony's Rory Bruer calls the movie quote, "the perfect way to experience the intensity even closer than the front row." "Kenny Chesney: Summer in 3D" is scheduled arrive in theaters for a limited engagement run in April.
