Zac Brown Band Planning A Music And Food Fest

Zac Brown Band's Zac Brown is combining his performing, music executive, and culinary skills in a new way. The group will host the inaugural Southern Ground Music and Food Festival this spring. The event will provide a showcase for Brown's group and other artists on his Southern Ground Artists label. Zac Brown Band will cap off the entertainment on the first two nights, and they've tapped Amos Lee to bring the festival to a close. The lineup also features Sonia Leigh, Nic Cowan, The Wood Brothers, Secret Sisters and others. Meanwhile, the "food" portion of the festival will give concertgoers a chance to sample recipes crafted by Brown and the band's chef, Rusty Hamlin. Many dishes will be enhanced by Brown's own seasonings -- the Southern Ground Grub GA Clay Spice Rub and Zac's Brown Sauce. Zac Brown Band's Southern Ground Music and Food Festival will take place at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina from April 8th through the 10th.
