Man Faces DUI Charge In Golf Cart

(Brooksville, FL) -- Drunk driving is one thing but a Florida man is facing DUI charges while behind the wheel of a golf cart. Deputies in Hernando County Eric Perez was stopped by deputies over the weekend while driving the wrong way down State Road 50 in Brooksville. They say he confessed to drinking a lot during the day and told them he would have a tough time taking a sobriety test. Authorities agree with his assessment and say his blood-alcohol content was more than three-times the legal limit.
