Survey Says: Voters Celebrate National Bagel Day With Everything

Today is National Bagel Day, and of the three-million bagels Americans eat every year, it looks like most people like to have it all. In a survey taken by New York-based Bruegger's Bagels through the company's Facebook page, 36-percent of the 40-thousand bagel lovers surveyed said the Everything Bagel was their favorite, followed closely by Asiago Parmesan with 35-percent. Cinnamon flavored bagels were also a favorite. Cinnamon-Raisin and Cinnamon-Sugar came in third and fourth place, respectively, while the standard Plain Bagel rounded out the top five with 20-percent of the vote. Respondents also picked plain cream cheese as the number one topping and said their favorite place to enjoy a bagel was back at the office.
