Survey Says: MEN GIVE FLOWERS ON VALENTINE'S DAY TO CONVEY LOVE

If a man has given you flowers this Valentine's Day, it's probably because he loves you. More than 90-percent of the guys taking part in a recent Luth Research poll say they give flowers on Valentine's Day as a way of expressing their love and appreciation to their significant other. Just 26-percent admit they give that special someone flowers on Valentine's Day just so their loved one isn't disappointed, and 16-percent confess that a gift of flowers on Valentine's Day is their attempt at staying out of trouble with their "other half." Most men are also conscientious about picking out the right arrangement. Three out of five guys say they take time in selecting the specific flowers they want to give. Finding just the right words to express their feelings on the bouquet's card is the most time consuming part of the process for 15-percent. And while the majority of men give flowers to their significant other on Valentine's Day, a third purchase bouquets for their moms.
