Prison Inmate Charged With Threatening President Obama

(Des Moines, IA) -- Federal charges are pending against a prison inmate in Iowa for allegedly threatening to kill President Obama. Authorities say Tommy Krueger sent a letter late last year to a U.S. Marshal in Alabama that included threats against the President as well as against former Iowa Governor Chet Culver. Krueger is no stranger to trouble as he's already serving time for burglary. He's at the Iowa Medical & Classification Center in Coralville but is expected to be released from prison next month.
