New Hampshire Town Hopes To Set Mustache Record

The city of Newport, New Hampshire is looking to "stache" its name in the Guinness Book of World Records. WMUR.com is reporting that the town attempted to break the record for most people with a mustache contest during their winter carnival last Saturday. Organizers say they needed 251 contestants to tie the record, adding that more than 450 people took part in their contest. Newport will have to wait to find out if they're the owners of a new world record, as it takes Guinness several weeks to verify records.
