Man Arrested For Attempting To Steal Parrot

(Honolulu, HI) -- A man is in a cage after trying to steal a parrot in Hawaii. Police say the suspect tried to take the bird in November from its perch and its owner saw him and confronted him. The suspect hit the owner and tried to get away with the bird but ended up fleeing alone when the animal bit him. However, he was only on the run for a few months as police caught up with him earlier this week. He is facing second-degree robbery charges.
