Larry King To Launch One-Man Comedy Show

Larry King is getting ready to exercise his comedy chops. Starting in April, the former host of CNN's "Larry King Live" will launch a series of one-man comedy shows about his life and work. Titled "Larry King: Standing Up," producers say the show will give fans a, quote, "hilarious and insightful look" at King's life behind and in front of the cameras. The tour will be somewhat interactive as audience members will get the chance to ask the famed interviewer some questions of their own. "Larry King: Standing Up" will launch on April 14th in Torrington, Connecticut. Atlantic City, New Jersey and Las Vegas are also among the tour's planned stops. More dates will be announced later.

King left his CNN talk show last year after more than 25 years on the air. He was replaced by British TV personality Piers Morgan who will interview the 77-year-old broadcast veteran on tonight's edition of "Piers Morgan Tonight." The face-to-face meeting comes just one week after King told the BBC that he thought Morgan was, quote, "good but not that dangerous."
