Today in 1998, legendary Chicago Cubs broadcaster Harry Caray died at the age of 77. Here are some more facts about the iconic baseball voice:

FACT: Harry Caray was inducted into the American Sportscasters Association Hall of Fame in 1989.
FACT: Harry Caray has a star on the St. Louis Walk of Fame.
FACT: While best known for his work in baseball, Harry Caray also called eight Cotton Bowl games in the 1950s and 60s.
FACT: Harry Caray has been memorialized with a statue outside of Chicago's Wrigley Field.
