Girl Scout Cookies Lead To Fight Between Roommates

A box of Girl Scout cookies led to the arrest of one Florida woman last weekend. According to the "Naples Daily News," Hersha Howard was arrested last Sunday for allegedly fighting with her roommate over a box of Thin Mints. The 31-year-old reportedly entered the roommate's bedroom and accused her of eating the cookies. The roommate denied the allegations, but offered to pay Howard ten dollars for the cookies. Howard was apparently in no mood for money, as she allegedly began attacking the woman. Howard is accused of threatening the woman with a pair of scissors during the dispute, and striking her with a board. The police were eventually called, and Howard was taken to jail. The Collier County resident has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
