Eric Church and The Band Berry Recieve Early ACM Awards

Eric Church and The Band Perry have been named top new solo vocalist and top new vocal duo or group for the 46th annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Selected by fan voting, the two acts are now the finalists for the top new artist award to be presented during the ACM Awards show taking place April 3 in Las Vegas. The individual awards announced Friday (Feb. 25) will be formally presented on March 2 at the ACM's Music City Jam during Country Radio Seminar in Nashville. Fan voting for the top new artist award begins March 11 and continues until 5 p.m. PST on April 3. Easton Corbin and Randy Houser were also nominated for top new solo vocalist, and the JaneDear Girls and Steel Magnolia were up for top new duo or group.
