Alan Jackson Launches Tour; Most Shows Outside The U.S.

Alan Jackson is back on the road. The singer has a slate of shows scheduled over the next two months along with a few dates set for the summer -- but his fans in the U.S. will have to travel out of the country to catch many of the shows. Alan's launching his road trip with three shows north of the border, beginning in Sudbury, Ontario Tuesday night. He'll head south of the equator next month to launch his first-ever tour of Australia. He'll make his Australian concert debut in Melbourne on March 4th and perform in Hunter Valley and Sydney before wrapping things up with a three-night stand in Brisbane. Miranda Lambert is opening those shows. At the end of March Jackson will be back in Canada to play a trio of shows across the Western part of the country. And this summer Alan is heading back to Scandinavia. He made his debut in that section of Europe back in 2009. He'll be performing one show in Sweden and two concerts in Norway in August.

But Jackson does have a few U.S. shows on the horizon. He'll appear at the Winstar Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma on February 11th, and he'll be in Choctaw, Mississippi on February 12th. Alan has a date with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo set for March 18th. And in June he'll participate in the Country Jam in Grand Junction, Colorado.
