Woman Calls 911 To Scare Boyfriend Into Proposing

An Illinois woman is facing criminal charges after she tried to get her boyfriend to pop the question. The "Chicago Sun-Times" is reporting that Ana Perez called 911 last Sunday with the hopes that the police would scare her man into proposing. The 40-year-old told authorities that she was being attacked by her boyfriend, but when police arrived Perez admitted that she was lying. Police Captain Ronald Pontecore says Perez's behavior was "ridiculous," adding that her boyfriend was actually planning on breaking up with her. Perez is now charged with disorderly conduct.
