Tim McGraw To Launch ‘Emotional Traffic’ In Spring

Country star Tim McGraw announces everything you need to know about his 2011 “Emotional Traffic Tour.” That is, everything but the actual play dates.But any word from the McGraw camp about tour dates is good news. For this outing, McGraw will be joined by Luke Bryan and The Band Perry. Tickets go up beginning Jan. 15. Meanwhile, McGraw will be all over your TV this week plugging Screen Gems’ “Country Strong” where his name appears above the title along with Gwyneth Paltrow, Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meester. McGraw plays James Canter, the husband / manager of country music artist Kelly Canter (Paltrow) whose career is sliding until she hooks up with rising country singer Beau Hutton (Hedlund). “Country Strong” hits theatres Jan. 7. In the meantime, you can catch McGraw talking up the flick while appearing on “Late Show With David Letterman” Jan. 4; “Good Morning America” Jan. 5; “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” Jan. 5; “Chelsea Lately” Jan. 6 and “The Martha Stewart Show” Jan. 7.
