Tim McGraw Making TV Appearances Behind "Country Strong"

Tim McGraw is hitting the small screen to spread the word about his latest movie, "Country Strong." The singer and actor is slated to make a number of TV appearances this week in support of the film. He'll begin his media blitz tonight with a visit to CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman." McGraw will start early on Wednesday as a guest on ABC's "Good Morning America," and wrap up the day on NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon." E!'s "Chelsea Lately" is on Tim's schedule for Thursday. On Friday, McGraw will stop by "The Martha Stewart Show" on the Hallmark Channel.

"Country Strong" is about a country star, but that's not McGraw's role. He has the part of James Canter, the husband and manager to Gwyneth Paltrow's character, singer Kelly Canter. "Country Strong" opened in Los Angeles and Nashville late last month. The movie hits theaters across the country this Friday.
