Suicidal Man Saved By Bags Of Trash
Several bags of trash kept a New York man from killing himself over the weekend. According to the "New York Post," Vangelis "Angelo" Kapatos landed on a large collection of garbage after jumping from his ninth-floor apartment window last Sunday. Authorities say the recent snowstorm that hit the New York area led to the accumulation of trash bags outside the building. Kapatos' aunt says the 26-year-old was upset about the possibility of being evicted from his apartment, adding that he was released from Bellevue Hospital's psych ward last week following a nervous breakdown. Kapatos was taken back to Bellevue Hospital on Sunday where he underwent surgery for injuries stemming from his fall.
