"MythBusters"-Inspired Shooter Arrested For Firing At Neighbor's House

The Discovery Channel's hit show "MythBusters" is having an adverse effect on at least one of its viewers. A resident of Wayne County, Ohio was recently arrested for attempting to test the ballistic stopping power of phone books. The man -- who told police he was inspired by an episode of "MythBusters" -- allegedly set phone books on his mantle and fired at them with a nine-millimeter pistol. Unfortunately, the bullets wound up penetrating his wall and entering his neighbor's home. Fox 8 News is reporting that the alleged shooter is now facing felony charges of discharging a firearm into an inhabited dwelling.
