iPhone-Controlled Fridge Shoots Out Beer

A pair of Virginia residents has created the perfect fridge for beer loving techies. According to "Orange" news, Ryan Rusnak and Graham Phero have created an iPhone-controlled fridge that shoots out beer cans and bottles. Users log into a specially designed web server where they can select the beer they wish to enjoy. A webcam attached to the fridge aims the cannon before the beer is shot across the room to its intended target. Phero and Rusnak's unique fridge is also into social networking, as it sends out a tweet whenever a beer is fired, and delivers a notification e-mail to its creators. Rusnak says their fridge is the perfect compliment to a hard day's work, stating, quote, "After working an eight-hour day, coming in and firing a can to yourself is just the best thing. Even now I've fired it hundreds of times and it's still cool."
