Dierks Bentley To Share Recording Process Of New Disc With Fans

Dierks Bentley will be letting his fans in on the recording of his new studio album. He notes, quote, "I thought it would be cool to let the fans be part of the whole experience, so we're going to let them watch as it all goes down." Beginning Sunday, fans will be able check out the sessions 24 hours a day through a live video feed on www.dierks.com. But that's not the only thing different about Bentley's recording process this time around. The singer-songwriter is planning to record the project in Asheville, North Carolina. Of the location, Bentley explains, quote, "I learned from my experience recording ["Up on the] Ridge" that getting out of Nashville and away from the business side of things can be really inspiring. I've got the best musicians in the world, and we're going to go hunker down for a few weeks and live and breathe this record."

Dierks has spent four months writing and re-writing songs in preparation to hit the studio. He notes that he's never devoted this much time to pre-production on songs, admitting, quote, "I usually come home from the road and go right into the studio." For this studio effort Bentley is re-teaming with Jon Randall Stewart, the producer of "Up on the Ridge." Dierks expects to have new music in the spring, followed with a new album.
