Woman In Labor Runs Out Of Gas

(Mesa, AZ) -- Things could have really been worse for an Arizona woman who was in labor and driving to the hospital when she ran out of gas on the freeway. Department of Public Safety officials say the Phoenix area woman was giving birth on the eastbound ramp of U.S. 60 one morning last week when help arrived. Mesa Fire officials say firefighters gave her a ride to Banner Gateway Hospital. The woman arrived, was actually a few hours away from delivering her child and was in good condition.
