Survey Says: HOLIDAY DECORATING STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS FOR MANY PEOPLE

A majority of Americans intend to deck the halls this holiday season, but don't have the job done yet. Three out of five adults in a Rasmussen Reports poll say they plan to decorate their homes. Only 22-percent note they've already completed the work, while 51-percent are still in the midst of decorating. Women are jumping on the task a little faster than men. While 55-percent of women say they've started their seasonal decorating, 52-percent of the men haven't taken any steps yet toward achieving their decorating goals. Just over half of the adult decorators who have kids living with them have also begun adorning their homes, but most of the adults planning to decorate who don't have kids haven't started yet.
