Dog Forces Delay At South American Airport

Travellers in Sao Paulo, Brazil endured a delay last week thanks to a runaway animal. According to "The Telegraph," officials at the city's airport had to suspend arrivals and departures for 24 minutes last Thursday after a dog escaped. A woman was reportedly trying to put the canine into her car in an airport hangar when the dog ran off. Security at the airport worried that the animal could cause an accident on the runway, but eventually decided to resume flights even though they hadn't located the dog. There is no word on if the pet pooch was ever found.
