Woman Run Over By Her Car Twice

An Australian woman is lucky to be alive following a terrifying accident with her car. The "Melbourne Age" is reporting that a 37-year-old Melbourne resident was run over twice in a matter of just moments. The woman had just pulled into her home when she reportedly forgot to use the parking brake. The vehicle wound up running the woman over, eventually bouncing off a fence and running her over a second time. Paramedic Craig Brooks says the woman is "incredibly lucky" she didn't die, noting that she was unable to move after being struck the first time. Brooks adds, quote, "She definitely was fortunate that her injuries, whilst possibly being serious, they could have been much worse." The woman is currently hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
