Trace Adkins, Craig Morgan Slated For Opryland Resort Grand Reopening

Trace Adkins and Craig Morgan will help Nashville celebrate the return of another local landmark. The singers have been tapped for a special show to kick off the three-day Grand Reopening event at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. The Resort has undergone renovations for the past several months after being damaged in May's flood. Adkins and Morgan will serve as co-headliners for the "Greater Together 2010" concert, which will also serve as a charity fundraiser. Money raised will go to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, Hands On Nashville, and the Nashville Area Chapter of the American Red Cross. The country stars will perform following the annual lighting ceremony which launches the Resort's holiday celebration "A Country Christmas." "Greater Together 2010" will take place at the Gaylord Opryland Resort's Delta Ballroom Thursday night.

The festivities will continue at Gaylord Opryland through Saturday. Holiday activities are scheduled throughout the official celebration. The three-day event also features a Golf Scramble, and a cooking demonstration from celebrity chef Guy Fieri, while Keith Urban and Sheryl Crow are slated to play private concerts at the Resort.
