Miranda Lambert Shares Her Admiration For Loretta Lynn

Miranda Lambert thinks very highly of Loretta Lynn. She notes she really admires how genuine the country legend is. Lambert adds that she loves how Lynn is "just down to earth," and she's hoping her career will be similar to Lynn's. Miranda says she got to know Loretta after the country queen sent her a note asking her to take part in a remake of "Coal Miner's Daughter." Miranda notes, quote, "It's not just me cutting 'Coal Miner's Daughter,' it's me singing it with Loretta. That's the utmost compliment to me as an artist that she would ask me to do it." The song, which is on the album "Coal Miner's Daughter: A Tribute to Loretta Lynn," also features Sheryl Crow.
