University of Iowa short-timer Ashton Kutcher may have unwittingly placed his alma mater in a technical foul situation with the NCAA. According to the "Des Moines Register," the school has admitted to recruiting violations involving a meeting between the Hollywood star and potential high school recruits. Kutcher and his wife, actress Demi Moore, apparently met with the recruits during an Iowa football game in September. One of the star-struck prospects even posted a picture of himself with Kutcher on Twitter. The players allegedly also met with former Iowa basketball players. NCAA rules prohibit potential high school recruits from interacting with, quote, "individuals considered to represent a university's athletic interests." In addition to his brief stint at the University of Iowa, Kutcher is known to attend games at the school frequently.
University of Iowa officials say the school is waiting to hear back from the NCAA to learn what, if any, penalties they will face for the alleged infractions.
