Dog Owner Fined For Dyeing Pet's Paws

A set of pink paws has earned one Florida woman a 255-dollar fine. According to News4Jax.com, Christine Hill was ticketed on Monday for dyeing her dog's paws pink. The Jacksonville resident says she bought a dye specifically designed for animals to give her pet pooch a little color for Halloween. An animal control officer reportedly saw the dog in a local park, and proceeded to ticket Hill for artificially coloring her animal. Hill says she doesn't feel as if she did anything wrong, noting, quote, "People put clothes on their dogs and T-shirts and you don't think twice because you're not harming the dog."
