Tim McGraw Making Australian Concert Debut Tonight

Tim McGraw is marking a career first. The singer is making his concert debut in Australia tonight with the first of a two-night stand at the Brisbane Entertainment Center. Chugg Entertainment notes that tickets for tonight's show sold out within 15 minutes of going on sale, so the second show was added. McGraw says he's wanted to perform for his fans "down under" for a long time. When he announced his tour, he noted, quote, "My career's been going for a while and I've been looking for opportunities to come down, and this is the first time the timing's worked out." Along with the Brisbane concerts, McGraw will visit Melbourne on Sunday and Sydney next Tuesday before wrapping up the trek in Townseville, Australia on September 25th. McGraw has an entourage with him in Australia. Along with his family, he's also brought his longtime backing band the Dancehall Doctors, who are supporting him on the shows.
