Opry Getting Ready For 85th Birthday Celebration

While the Grand Ole Opry is getting ready for its grand reopening this week, plans are also underway for the Opry's annual birthday bash. Dolly Parton will be among the many stars participating in the festivities, which will take place in the month of October. She says she's excited for the party's launch, set for October 8th and 9th, noting, quote, "There's so much to celebrate, this year in particular. I'm looking forward to seeing all the good country music fans that weekend, and I just hope good lookin' guys like Trace Adkins are as excited to come see me when I hit 85 as they are to celebrate with the Opry this year! Of course we don't have to worry about my 85th for a long, long time!" Adkins is also on board for the birthday gala, along with Taylor Swift, Crystal Gayle, and others.
