The fall TV season is in full swing this week with a number of new shows and old favorites populating the primetime lineup. NBC's heavily-promoted "The Event" unfolds tonight after the season premiere of "Chuck." "Chase," another new NBC drama, follows "The Event." CBS has a new take on the TV classic "Hawaii Five-O" after the debut of its new comedy "Mike & Molly." Fox is offering up the new oil family drama "Lone Star" following the premiere of the new season of "House." And ABC is kicking off the fall season with the two-hour season premiere of "Dancing With The Stars," followed by a new season of "Castle."Other new shows making their debut this week include ABC's new cop drama "Detroit 1-8-7" on Tuesday night. Fox's "Raising Hope" and "Running Wilde" also make their debut in Tuesday primetime following the season premiere of the network's hit musical comedy "Glee." NBC has the new spousal spy adventure "Undercovers" on Wednesday night, while CBS is running with "The Defenders." ABC's new comedy "Better With You" leads the return of the network's Emmy winning comedy "Modern Family" and the new legal drama "The Whole Truth" caps ABC's Wednesday night lineup.
CBS introduces its controversially-titled new comedy "$#*! (Bleep) My Dad Says," starring William Shatner, on Thursday night after "The Big Bang Theory." NBC folds "Outsourced" into its Thursday night comedy lineup, and ABC's "My Generation" leads off a new season of Thursday night drama on ABC followed by the season premieres of "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice." On Friday night, NBC and CBS go head-to-head with two new justice dramas. CBS has "Blue Bloods" while NBC has the Jimmy Smits-starrer "Outlaw."
