NBC Gives "America's Got Talent" A Sixth Season
Nick Cannon's summer job appears to be safe. According to "The Hollywood Reporter," NBC has decided to renew their hit reality competition "America's Got Talent" for a sixth season. The show, hosted by Cannon, is currently enjoying a very successful fifth season, as it ranks as the highest-rated series of the summer. "America's Got Talent" has been able to continue its success despite making two major changes to its lineup. Comedian Howie Mandel replaced David Hasselhoff on the judge's panel, while Nick Cannon took over the hosting duties from Jerry Springer. New episodes of "America's Got Talent" are currently airing on NBC Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9:00 p.m. Eastern.
