Limbless Man Swims English Channel

A French man recently proved that you don't need limbs to swim the English Channel. The BBC is reporting that Philippe Croizon completed the trek in just over 13 hours. The 42-year-old -- who had his arms and legs amputated following an electrical accident -- had set a goal of 24 hours. His team of supporters believe he has set a record time for a disabled swimmer. Following his accomplishment, Croizon remarked, quote, "I've done this for myself, for my family, and for all those who have suffered tragedy and lost their taste for life."
