Jerrod Niemann Gets Special Gift At Number One Party

Jerrod Niemann has something special to remind him of his breakthrough single, "Lover, Lover." AllAccess.com says Sonia Dada's Daniel Pritzker attended an event last week in Nashville in honor of Niemann's chart-topping success with the song -- and brought a present. The country singer says he was thrilled just to have Pritzker at the party, and he was amazed by the gift -- the 1957 Gibson J-185 guitar Pritzker used to write the song, originally called "You Don't Treat Me No Good No More." Jerrod laughs as he recalls, quote, "When he gave it to me, I said, 'Thank you,' and 'Are you crazy?'" He adds that he's finding it hard to believe he now owns this instrument, stating, quote, "I do not deserve this guitar. I mean, you know, hopefully -- if he asks for it back, I'd definitely give it to him back, 'cause it's just that awesome of a guitar. But in the meantime, I'm gonna be picking and grinning and giggling and whatever else you do with a guitar that is worth more than your car."

Niemann's "Lover, Lover" hit number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart a few weeks ago. The track is from Niemann's CD "Judge Jerrod and the Hung Jury."
