Ice Cream Vendor Hit With Bleach

A dispute over ice cream landed a California woman behind bars earlier this week. KCRA.com is reporting that Karen Lynn Washington (pictured left) was arrested for allegedly throwing bleach into the face of an ice cream vendor. The victim was reportedly selling ice cream from a bicycle cart on Monday when he was approached by Washington. The 56-year-old Sacramento resident was said to have been upset because she thought the vendor had shortchanged her a week ago, and she proceeded to hit him with bleach. Fortunately, the victim didn't need to be hospitalized for treatment. Washington has since been charged with assault with caustic chemicals. Her bail was set at 110-thousand dollars.
