Grandmother's Ashes Mistaken For Drugs

Authorities in Wyoming made a bizarre discovery during a traffic stop last week. The "Denver Post" is reporting that Wyoming Highway Patrol stopped Zachary Beason and Thomas Garay last Wednesday morning as they drove on Wyoming 28. While searching their vehicle, authorities found what they believed was "poor quality cocaine or methamphetamine." However, after studying the substance a little closer, Highway Patrol realized it was actually the cremated ashes of the vehicle owner's grandmother. Unfortunately for Garay and Beason, police also found drug paraphernalia, traces of marijuana, and OxyContin in their car. They have since been charged with misdemeanor possession of a Schedule two prescription drug.
