Cops Called To Oregon Gun Store

Police in Portland, Oregon had to draw their guns this week after receiving a call from a local gun store. "The Oregonian" is reporting that a passerby outside Gun Room Inc. called 911 Monday after seeing someone holding a gun and looking apprehensive. Authorities responded by setting up a perimeter around the store and pulling out their assault rifles. However, they soon learned that the suspected individual was simply there to sell one of his firearms. Police subsequently left without issuing any citations. Portland Police Bureau spokesman Pete Simpson remarks, quote, "The police response was appropriate. If you thought someone was robbing a gun shop, you're going to show up with guns."
