CBS Sponsors College Marching Band "Five-O" Competition

CBS is challenging college marching bands across the nation to put their touches on a classic. The network, which will premiere a retooled version of "Hawaii Five-O" next Monday, wants bands to perform the show's iconic theme in a contest for 25-thousand-dollars and national attention. Collegiate marching bands can videotape their best rendition of "Five-O" and upload their entry in "CBS' Hawaii Five-O Marching Band Mania" to cbscollegesports.com/hawaiifive-o. Entries for the competition must be received by this Sunday, September 19th. The public will then get to vote for their favorites from September 20th through October 4th.

CBS has announced that Arizona State University, Gettysburg College, and, appropriately, the University of Hawaii are among the colleges that have entered "Five-O" videos.
