Carrie Underwood Debuting New Video With 48-Hour Premiere Starting Friday
Carrie Underwood is ready with her next video. The singer recently shot the clip to "Mama's Song" with director Shawn Silva in Nashville. Underwood teamed up with Kara DioGuardi, Martin Frederiksen, and Luke Laird to write the track, which was penned for Carrie's mom, Carole. Carole also appears in the clip. "Mama's Song" will make its debut later this week online. The video will launch with a 48-hour world premiere starting Friday via VEVO. Fans can see the clip at VEVO.com, VEVO Mobile, VEVO on YouTube, and other VEVO outlets. In addition, a special behind-the-scenes package on the video shoot, including comments from Underwood, is now posted on People.com. "Mama's Song" is the fourth single from Underwood's most recent CD, "Play On."
