British Police Force Using Tractor To Catch Criminals
A police force in the United Kingdom has added a unique set of wheels to its fleet of vehicles. The U.K.'s "Orange" news is reporting that the Lincolnshire police force is using a John Deere tractor to help prevent crime in rural areas. The tractor has been given a complete police makeover and now features a new paint job and a flashing blue light. Chief Inspector Phil Vickers says while the tractor is a fun addition to the force, they're still dedicated to reducing crime. He remarks, quote, "The tractor looks like a bit of fun, but its purpose is to capture the public's attention and deliver the message that we take rural crime very seriously."
