Rosie O'Donnell Lands Show On Oprah's OWN
Emmy-winning talk show host Rosie O'Donnell is returning to TV. E! News is reporting that the comedienne has landed a daily show that will air on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network. The yet untitled project is slated to begin airing sometime next year. O'Donnell says she's honored to be a part of Oprah's network stating, quote, "I'm excited to be back on daytime television." Oprah is also excited about their new partnership stating, quote, "Rosie is an undeniable talent who has captivated TV audiences for nearly 20 years. She's a true original, who brings her authentic voice, dynamic energy and pure passion to everything she does." Rosie O'Donnell won multiple Emmy awards for her daytime talk show "The Rosie O'Donnell Show." She was also a part of ABC's "The View," eventually leaving the show in 2007. Oprah Winfrey's OWN network is expected to launch in January.
