Jennifer Nettles Maintains A Focus On Fitness

Sugarland vocalist Jennifer Nettles maintains a busy schedule, but even when she's on the road she finds time for a workout. The singer recently caught up with "People" magazine and revealed that fitness is a big part of her life. She states, quote, "I exercise five to six days a week." Nettles says she starts off every day with a breakfast that consists of yogurt and fresh fruit, and then usually goes for a run or a swim. She also enjoys doing yoga, as famed instructor Rod Stryker frequently joins Sugarland on the road. Nettles enjoys lifting weights as well, but only when she's at home. She explains, quote, "it's hard to have that amount of energy on the road when you're not sleeping well."

Sugarland is currently heating up airwaves with their new single, "Stuck Like Glue." They are also out on tour, with their next show coming up on Thursday at the Civic Auditorium in Asheville, North Carolina.
