Doug Stone Arrested For DUI

Doug Stone is facing a DUI charge. The "Gallatin News Examiner" says the country star was taken into custody following a traffic stop in Gallatin, Tennessee last Tuesday. Police say in their report they were responding to a call from a, quote, "concerned citizen" who reported a vehicle with Georgia licence plates driving erratically. Officers note that when they pulled over Stone, both he and his car smelled of alcohol. The singer was taken to Sumner County Jail after doing "poorly" on a field sobriety test. He was held until he posted a three-thousand-dollar bond later in the day. Stone is due in court on October 5th to address the charge.
